We come to Kenmore the back way — up Juanita Drive past Saint Edward State Park — which means we skip the SR 522 crawl along Bothell Way and show up on time even at rush hour. The housing here is honest 1960s and '70s Northshore stock: split-levels and ramblers in the Moorlands and Arrowhead with big lots and bigger basements, plus newer townhomes and apartments around Town Square that come with tight garages and interior stairs.
