Everything people actually ask us — costs, timing, junk, payment — answered like a neighbor would, not a brochure.

How much do movers cost in Seattle?
Less than you think if you call us first. We charge a simple hourly rate that includes everything — the 16-ft truck with lift gate, dollies, moving blankets, and the muscle. No fuel surprises, no fees for stairs. Most apartment moves finish in 2-4 hours. Check our pricing page for the current rates, or text us at (206) 609-5581 and we'll give you a real number in minutes.
How much does junk removal cost?
It depends on how much space your stuff takes in the truck — a single couch costs way less than a full garage. Our prices start low for single items and we publish our load-size ranges right on the pricing page. Fastest way to a price: text us a photo of the junk and we'll quote it fast. First haul? Ask about $25 off.
Can you move me AND haul away my junk in the same trip?
That's our specialty — it's the whole idea behind Breath Out. We load what's going to your new place, and everything you don't want goes in the same truck: old couch, boxes, garage clutter, all of it. One crew, one trip, one bill. You leave the old place empty and arrive at the new one with only the things you actually want.
Do you offer same-day or last-minute service?
Yes — honestly, rescuing last-minute moves has become our reputation. More than one customer found us the same day their scheduled movers cancelled, and we got them moved. We're open 8 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. If it's urgent, call or text (206) 609-5581 right now and we'll tell you straight whether we can make it today.
Who will actually show up to my move?
Asuman — the owner — with a helper on bigger jobs. No call center, no random temp crew. You'll talk to the same person who quotes your job, shows up with the truck, and wraps your furniture. Read our reviews: customers book us by name, and that's exactly how we like it.
What's included in the hourly rate?
Everything we bring: the 16-ft box truck with lift gate, dollies, moving blankets, furniture wrapping, and the labor. We don't nickel-and-dime for stairs, and we tell you the price before we lift a single box. The quote we agree on is the quote you pay.
How far in advance should I book?
A few days ahead is ideal, and summer weekends and month-end fill up fastest — those are the busiest slots in all of Seattle. That said, we keep room for last-minute jobs every single day, so never assume it's too late. Weekday and mid-month moves are also easier to book and easier on your wallet.
Do you do small moves — like a studio or just one couch?
Absolutely. Small and large loads are both welcome — that's been true since day one. Studio apartments, single furniture pieces, a mattress across town, dorm moves — no job is too small to get the full treatment: blankets, careful loading, on-time arrival.
Can you just load or unload my U-Haul or POD?
Yes — labor-only help is one of our services. You rent the truck or container, we bring the muscle, dollies, and know-how to load it tight and safe (a well-packed truck is an art — check our photos). Great for DIY moves, military moves, and UW move-in week.
Where does my junk actually go?
Not straight to the landfill if we can help it. Furniture and items in usable shape go to donation first, and we recycle what can be recycled — metal, e-waste, cardboard. Your garage gets to breathe out, and most of your stuff gets a second life. Ask us for a donation receipt if you'd like one.
Do you take heavy stuff — appliances, pianos, hot tubs?
Heavy is what the lift gate is for. Refrigerators, washers and dryers, exercise equipment, sofas up three flights of stairs — we've done it all, and our reviews back that up. For very big items like hot tubs or pianos, text us a photo first so we can bring the right setup and give you an exact price.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Kirkland and serve everywhere within about 60 miles of Seattle — the whole Eastside (Bellevue, Redmond, Bothell, Issaquah), Seattle itself, north to Everett, and south to Renton, Kent, and Tacoma. Longer moves across Washington? Ask — we do those too.
How do I pay, and do I need a deposit?
We keep it simple: Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal when the job's done. We'll confirm your price in writing before the job so there are no surprises. If your plans change, just tell us as early as you can — we know moving days shift, and we'd rather reschedule you than charge you.
Are you licensed and insured?
[PLACEHOLDER — publish only after the WUTC Household Goods permit and insurance are confirmed; then state the HG and USDOT numbers here and in the footer. Until then this question must be omitted from the site rather than answered vaguely.]
Should I empty my dresser drawers?
Light stuff like clothes can usually stay in the drawers — we'll wrap the whole dresser. Take out anything heavy, breakable, or valuable. When we arrive we'll walk through together and tell you exactly what needs to come out; we ask questions instead of making assumptions, because that's how nothing gets broken.
Why 'Breath Out'?
Breathe in — feel that tightness? That's living in a space that's cramped, cluttered, or mid-move. Now breathe out — that's the feeling when the truck pulls away and it's all handled. Our customers say it themselves: 'I can surely breath out in my space.' That's the job. That's the name.
